Quality Control Manager (m/f/d)

The Quality Control department is responsible for the analysis and release of biotechnological products. These products are tested according to specific quality requirements for critical raw materials in the biopharmaceutical and food industries in an EXCiPACT-certified environment.

How you will create impact:
- Reviewing internal and external analysis results according to internal standards in an EXCiPACT-certified environment
- Coordinating analyses at external analytical laboratories
- Creating and maintaining QC-specific documents
- Assisting in handling deviations and change procedures
- Coordinating and providing technical support for method transfers
- Coordinating and documenting of validation procedures for analytical methods and stability programs
- As a QC Manager, you will work closely with the lab team and report to the Head of the QC Department
Your skills
- A degree in Biochemistry, Chemistry, Biology, Life Sciences, or a comparable field
- Experience with relevant analytical methods (enzymatic assays, enzyme activity determinations, and ideally molecular biological methods, microbiological methods, HPLC)
- Analytical thinking skills and ideally basic knowledge in statistics and enzyme reactions
- Ideally, work experience in a regulated environment (ISO 9001, GMP, or others)
- A strong interest in learning new methods, enjoyment in optimizing processes, and a high level of self-motivation
- Team-oriented working style and good communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills, careful and independent working
- Fluent German and very good English skills, both written and spoken
- Proficiency in common office applications (especially MS Word, MS Excel)
